Force Index (13) — equity power behind moves.

What is Force Index?

Force Index combines price change and volume to measure buying and selling pressure. Positive values = buyers winning, negative = sellers winning.

Interpretation

  • FI > 0: Buying pressure (bulls winning)
  • FI < 0: Selling pressure (bears winning)
  • High magnitude: Strong conviction

Price Overlay

  • Enter Closer-Look mode to see close price overlay
  • Toggle: Show/hide close price line (right axis)
  • Force Index divergence = weakening trend
