What is OBV?
On-Balance Volume is a cumulative indicator that adds volume on up days and subtracts on down days, showing smart money accumulation or distribution.
Interpretation
- Rising OBV: Accumulation (smart money buying)
- Falling OBV: Distribution (smart money selling)
- OBV Breakout: Confirms price breakout
Price Overlay
- Enter Closer-Look mode to see close price overlay
- Toggle: Show/hide close price line (right axis)
- Rising OBV + flat price = accumulation
- Falling OBV + rising price = distribution
