Aroon Up / Down / Oscillator trend.

What is Aroon?

Aroon identifies whether a security is trending and how strong the trend is. Aroon Up/Down range 0-100, Oscillator ranges -100 to 100. High values indicate strong trends.

Parameters (25)

  • Aroon Up (solid green): Time since highest high (0-100)
  • Aroon Down (dashed red): Time since lowest low (0-100)
  • Oscillator (dotted): Up minus Down (-100 to 100)

Interpretation

  • Aroon Up > 70: Strong uptrend
  • Aroon Down > 70: Strong downtrend
  • Crossovers signal trend changes
  • Data refreshes periodically — not real-time

Trading Signals

  • Up crosses above Down: Bullish
  • Down crosses above Up: Bearish
  • High readings (>70) confirm trend

Price Overlay

  • Close Price: Daily closing price (right Y-axis)
  • Aroon Up > 70 + rising price = strong uptrend confirmed
  • Aroon Down > 70 + falling price = strong downtrend confirmed
  • Aroon crossover diverging from price = potential reversal
