What is Williams %R?

Measures overbought/oversold levels on a scale of 0 to -100, inverse of Stochastic %K.

Zones

• -20 to 0: Overbought zone
• -80 to -20: Neutral zone
• -100 to -80: Oversold zone

Interpretation

• Overbought: W%R near 0, potential reversal down
• Oversold: W%R near -100, potential reversal up
• Scale: Inverted: 0 = highest, -100 = lowest

Trading Signals

• Sell: W%R crosses above -20
• Buy: W%R crosses below -80
• Best in ranging markets, not strong trends

Price Overlay

• Enter Closer-Look mode to see close price overlay
• Toggle: Show/hide close price line (right axis)
• Price new high + %%R staying near -20 = weakening trend
• Price new low + %%R higher low = bullish divergence
